In 2012, FirstMetroSec revolutionized online trading with the launch of FirstMetroSec version 2.0, which featured a redesigned, more intuitive online trading platform, and powerful tools to address the needs of the growing number of online users.

Mobile Apps – To give investors access to the PSE even while on-the-go, FirstMetroSec has introduced mobile phone and tablet applications for the two (2) most popular operating systems in mobile devices today: The FirstMetroSec iPad and iPhone Apps on IOS, which are downloadable free on the App Store; and the FirstMetroSec Mobile and Tablet Apps on Android, which are available for free on Google Play.

Equity Research – To provide clients with actionable investment ideas and up-to-date market news, FirstMetroSec has made available Equity Research reports on its website which are published daily, weekly and monthly. The company has also entered into a research collaboration with DBS Vickers Singapore, aiming to offer best-in-class equity research to local and foreign investors.

Market Education – To support the goal of its parent firm, First Metro Investment to encourage more Filipinos to participate in the capital markets, FirstMetroSec is continuously conducting Stock Market tutorials in all of the First Metro Investors Centers.

How do I open a FirstMetroSec Online Trading Account?

1. Visit www.firstmetrosec.com.ph, and click on OPEN ACCOUNT. This will take you through a
step-by-step process for your account opening.

 


2. Fill out all required information in the Customer Account Information Form.

3. Print out the three forms – Customer Account Information Form, Trading Agreement, Signature Cards;
and sign on the necessary spaces provided.

4. Attach clear photocopies of 2 valid /government-issued IDs.

5. Attach a Billing Statement within the last 3 months.

6. Submit the completed forms and required documents:

For Metrobank Account holders: submit documents thru the FirstMetroSec pouch (Pouch Code:90033) at your
Metrobank branch of account OR submit personally to the head office or any of the First Metro Investor Centers.

For Non-Metrobank Account holders: submit personally to the head office or any of the First Metro Investor
Centers. You must also submit a photocopy of your passbook’s cover page or a machine-validated deposit slip of the
Non-Metrobank Account you indicated as your settlement bank account.

Note: The transit time of transfer from the Metrobank branch to the First Metro Securities head office may
take up to seven (7) banking days

7.First Metro Securities will send an email notification of the account activation within two days after receipt of complete documents.
